Influencer Impressions
The total number of times an influencer's content was displayed, including repeat views by the same person.
Influencer impressions count every time a piece of creator content appears on a screen, including multiple views by the same person. If one follower sees a Story three times, that registers as three impressions but only one unit of reach. Impressions measure exposure volume and frequency, which matters for brand recall, because repeated exposure tends to lift memory. The metric inflates easily, though: a high impression count with low reach signals a small audience seeing content many times, while high reach with modest impressions signals broad but shallow exposure. Always read impressions alongside reach.
Gigde treats impressions as a frequency signal inside Influencer Marketing reporting, not a success metric on its own. We compare impressions to reach to compute effective frequency, then judge whether your message is landing often enough to be remembered without fatiguing the audience. For Influencer Campaign Management clients, we set frequency caps and rotate creators so spend buys incremental exposure rather than repeating to the same people.
